"Another conspiracy theory, MG?"
Ouch!

Enzo's Eye
(It was bound to happen.)

Okay, here I am. Throwing together a page of "clues" about the "Enzo's Eye conspiracy." Why? 'Cause I think it's fun! In fact, let's all go nuts and try to get this as big as the "Paul is dead" thing. (Yeah, right...)

Mean Teen Enzo: now with realistic scar!
In "Identity Crisis, Part 2" and in "Countdown to Chaos" (the ReBoot Playstation game) we see a teen Enzo with a scarred right eye.

Artist or psychic?
Seekr452 noticed this art from "Painted Windows." There's blue, green, and red figures that probably represent Bob, Enzo, and Frisket. There's also an icon centered in a diamond so it resembles an eye... Intriguing...

Only need one eye, eh?
Sparrowchaser and Silver Owll42 pointed out this highly suspicious shot from "Painted Windows."

Think he knows?
The eyepatch Enzo reboots into in "AndrAIa" is often cited as conspiracy evidence. BUT, it's on the wrong eye. (Enzo loses his right eye, not his left.)

Ewww...
In "To Mend and Defend" Enzo reboots into a zombie, and his right eye promptly pops out.

It's like the Country Bear Jamboree!
Also in "To Mend and Defend," the deer head on the wall says "It's only funny 'til somebody loses an eye."

I only have eyes for you...
In "Between a Raccoon and a Hard Place" we see a skull with what looks like two glowing eyes. They turn out to be one-eyed creatures, and the right one crawls out first.

Translation is a matter of opinion.
Also in "Between a Raccoon and a Hard Place" the top of the pillar that has the extra life coin has an eye heiroglyph. [It seems the heiroglyphs don't really translate into anything, but they do look cool!]

It's the flame that never dies...
In the "Firewall" intro song, the line "Fire-- see it burning in his eyes" is sung as the camera zooms into Enzo's left eye. (I know, wrong eye. But it's the general idea that counts here. Zaytan takes out Enzo's eye with a flaming claw-thing.)

[Note from MG: Some people have sent me messages suggesting the right eye is hidden by darkness because it's eventually lost. To them I say: could be. :) ]

Shaken, not gouged.
"Matrix. Enzo Matrix."
Not only did "Firewall" emphasize Enzo's last name, it also cast him as a James Bond-type character. And what was the name of the last Bond movie to have come out at the time "Firewall" originally aired? Goldeneye, of course!

In the "Firewall" game, there is a very brief moment where a pile of kid's-room junk is visible in the corner of the screen. In this pile, I see at least three eye-type symbols.

Blatant, yet often ignored.
By "Game Over" things are pretty blatant. The game's logo is an icon-like symbol featuring a sword pointed at an eye. Different forms of this logo are seen all over the game.

Ouch again!
And we all know where this is going...

Don't mock me!
You know, I wouldn't be surprised if this is where all of Matrix's issues stem from.

Be seeing you!  Or maybe he's just obsessed with golf balls...
That whole right eye "Be seeing you!" thing did figure in heavily in his "Number 7" self-help hallucination, after all.

So, the poor kid was pretty much doomed.
Or maybe I'm just seeing things?

The plot thickens...
But if it's all in my head, why did Mainframe Entertainment flip the image of Matrix on his character description page so it looks like he lost the wrong eye? Could it all be part of some massive coverup designed to confuse the minds of our ReBoot-watching youth?
Let's say "yes." It's more interesting that way.
