Overanalysis Theatre
Overanalysis Theatre was my blow-by-blow reaction to ReBoot's Season IV. As you read, keep in mind that the commentary for each episode was written before the next episode had aired in the U.S. (With the exception of Daemon Rising and Cross Nodes, which aired back-to-back.) So let a few of the crazier theories slide, okay? We had no idea what was coming at the time.
P.S. Don't forget to let your mouse sit on the pictures, so you can read the pop-up captions. Especially in the later episodes.
Hints from before S4 In which we begin the arduous journey.
The Cartoon Network promo In which MG tries to determine the entire plot of a two-hour movie-- based on fifteen seconds of footage.
4.01: Daemon Rising In which we hear the word "time" quite a lot. Plus: Bob's old roomate shows up on a Frisbee.
4.02: Cross Nodes In which everyone is running around like crazy, but very little is accomplished. Plus: Hex gets new earrings.
4.03: What's Love Got To Do With It? In which we never really learn what love does have to do with it. Plus: Bob refuses to get naked.
4.04: Sacrifice In which there isn't enough Bob to go around, shortly followed by too darn much Bob. Plus: Matrix and Enzo hold hands.
4.05: My Two Bobs In which Glitch Bob is sad, Dot is freaked out, and that other Bob is a dinosaur. Plus: The Cleavage Patrol returns.
4.06: Life's a Glitch... In which bad decision-making skills spread faster than Daemon's infection ever did. Plus: Everyone pretty much ignores Glitch Bob's crippling esteem issues.
4.07: Null Bot of the Bride In which MG very nearly has a nervous breakdown in front of a live audience. Plus: Megabyte crushes Dot's very soul.
4.08: Crouching Binome, Hidden Virus In which everything is explained, but nothing adds up. Plus: A brand new cliffhanger ending for you to love and call your own.
